Pics are promised Though buble seems quite obvious in scan it is very hard to see with naked eye The scanner seems to amplify the error

I've been looking at the 2011 Twenty Cent Year of Volunteers and the circles on that seem almost identical to the 2010 variety...maybe slightly larger on the 2011. P.S. Nancyc have sent you an email Mrcruise good to see you got one of these

$1100 down worth of 20c pieces down.
(School holidays = me going like crazy with the 20c pieces... sure, I'm programming too for term two too, I swear).
Had a rubbish day today, think I'd picked up someone else's returns. $300 and all I found was one Tasmanian state coin, and a coin I put a poll on in another thread.
Here's a question: How's everyone luck with the 20c state series?
I have found heaps of TAS and W.A, then QLD. Found maybe one of VIC/NSW/ACT/SA and no NT/NI - Looking at mintages I'm not sure why I can't find more NSW - I remember when these came out and NSW was everywhere!

Hi CoinMan Tim
I had a look through my commemorative 20 cent coin collection yesterday. From the Federation set (state series) I have 2 from NSW, 2 from WA, 2 from VIC, one each from ACT, QLD, NT, SA, TAS.
Still missing the Norfolk Island coin.
I have noted that these coins are not very common in circulation. My "hunting ground" is Melbourne !.

There is no comparison with this error because IMHO it is an enhancement to the design and doesn't come across looking like damage that most errors look like . This is one of them unique errors and at the moment I am unable to think of any errors that actually make a coin look better instead of making them look damaged. I wouldn't sell the other I would keep it. I think that this has the ability to become a "classic" error over time The real beauty of this is you don't need a Lupe to see the error and that is a huge plus

Hi CoinMan Tim Had a look through my 20 cent reserve last night. I was particularly looking for larena's 2010 Platypus bubble coin. But once again the unexpected happened. No 'bubble' error in my hoard, but I did find two Norfolk Island 20c 'state series'. So now my Australian commemorative 20 cent (circulation) coin set is complete.
