1921 Penny With A Star

I recently inherited some coins and in a bag contaning pennies there was a note saying that a 1921 penny with a "star" on the front or back is very valuable. The 1921 penny I found does not have a star on it. I have done much research on the internet and have not been able to find any reference to a 1921 penny with any star marking, has anyone else heard or know anything about this "star"?

No 1921 Penny's or Halfpenny's had a star on them.
The coin most likely noted would have to be the 1921 Star One Shilling Coin.
Have a look below this is an image of someones coin on ebay.

The later Penny's & Halfpenny's from 1938 onwards had a star but this was standard amongst them all & it was actually a seven-point star. This star was also included in many other predecimal coins.

Ah, yes he must have got it confused with a penny! Thanks for solving that for me, its been bothering me since I found the note.
