I used tape to show the center line for the front. Is this rare at all?

It's a Rotated Die error with a small degree of rotation. I'd expect you would need at least 45 degrees of rotation (about 1/8 turn) before error collectors would be much interested. Your coin has maybe 15 degrees rotation. So, it's definitely an error but probably worth only a small premium.

You could always put it on ebay and see what happens!

It is slightly rotated, but not enough to command a premium. Its pretty common.

you did not put tape on that cent ! well its not worth really that much any ways. For the future, don't put tape on any coin. Put them in flips, and try to keep finger prints off them also.

You don't want to tape the coins, since the tape will leave residue on the coin and ruin the collector value.
