This is a shot from my Olympus. Even when looked through with my loupe, the secondary image is there. Not sure what to make of this if anything. Edited by kenscott 02/22/2012 01:57 am

Yes, closeup please. It looks like an "F" from the photo. Lots of wear on that Kennedy so who knows what it is.

Yeah, it does look like an F in front on IN. Can't wait to see the closeup!

Looks like an F, maybe somebody scratched it in there.

Sorry for the delay all. I have been doing taxes the last day or so.
I will try to have a better shot later this afternoon.

Has anyone else noticed how "fat" and exaggerated the letters in liberty as well as the numbers in the date are? Possible DDO here?

How was what I wrote unacceptable? It does look like it is an F in front of the IN?

In Kingcoin's defense I also see an "F" on the coin.

Quote: How was what I wrote unacceptable? It does look like it is an F in front of the IN? It was the phrase you were inferring. A phrase that is not family friendly. Please remember this is a family friendly forum. Even though the actual bad word was not said, it was implied.

I do not see any implication of any profanity when I read the posts.
How does F in front of IN indicate anything vulgar? Is it some kind of Canadian reference seeing how I cannot see if being anything bad in American language?

Quote: I do not see any implication of any profanity when I read the posts. It was only one post, not posts. It was something Kingcoin said (probably innocently and my original rebuke may have been too harsh). I restored the good part of his post, but left the bad part out. I harbour no ill-will towards the letter F. By the way, if anyone saw what was removed, they would probably understand how it would not be acceptable. Review the General Conduct rules. The edited phrase fell under Rule #1. If anyone feels we need to justify this action, please read Rule #4. If anyone feels like beating this dead horse, read Rule #5 first. Consider this issue closed and continue discussing the coin.

Okay, now here are some additional pictures which I HOPE are better than the first. I have tried to shoot from different angles, but please remember I only have an older point and shoot with macro.

I do understand, and it will not happen and, not for the new picture it appears to be a Letter, I do not think it is a 1, To be honest it's hard for me to tell but it looks like either an E,F, or a P.
