I suspect that this is only scarce at best.
I got mine from a dealer's junk box.
Very interesting, and worthy of a place in a collection of error coins.

I wouldn't mind betting that some sharp eyed American servicemen brought a few back from Europe with them.

It is NOT a wrong planchet. The 1944 Belgium 2 Cents was struck using U.S. wartime zinc coated steel Cent planchets.

so... $1 , $10 , $100 (?)

i am not an error collector, will sell it off to pay for something else if it's worth $10+, if not I will keep it and add it to the darkside collection

Keep it in your darkside collection. The item I obtained from the dealer's junkbox is a blank planchet. Can't remember what it cost now, but if it was from a junk box, it wouldn't have been for very much.

The caption on the coin holder states the case correctly.

There exist a variatie of these coin in silver ! But they are rare. They mistake the planchet for some Dutch coins also striked in the the Philadelphia Mint
