I posted this link late last year on how we make our polymer notes, this may help identify where this error was made in the manufacturing process.

Clearly quality control had the day off as according to this link it must have passed through several quality assurance checks.

Haven't found any $50 note errors like the topic but did find this site with some polymer error crackers.

Hey Goatieman,
In general, do you think the notes condition is a major factor with the value of error notes ?

Rbarat, for me it's a matter of scarcity. I haven't seen an error of this sort before.

There's a couple more errors I want to chase. It's just a matter of finding them. I would love a 50 without a serial/s or without signatures. But there are a lot I'd love.

My highest bid was $567.65, a bid enough above $550.

Rev, were there any fake/pretend bidders bidding? The other bidder (& one other too) had only bid on that item...hmm. Seems a fraction suss, but I'm not making any accusations. In the end, I spent about $60 more than I wanted. I would have been happy to pay ($360 to) $460.

Enworb, you're not the only one that found it odd. I'm becoming more & more curious. Enworb, how much was your highest bid?

Only $85 no hope at all lol.

I see one of the bidders only had 2 feedback but they didnt drive the price up too much. It seems as if it was the person with 20 feedback had the most impact. 20 feedback is not too bad. You will never know but I hope it was all legit.

Maybe next time there is something you are deadset on you could not bid and then with 1 minute to go bang on a massive snipe bid. This reduces the chances of getting screwed by shill bidding.
