nohope587,
The only one I didn't count towards the total is the Turkey coin because I don't "think" that's an actual coin. It's a medallion, right? If I'm wrong, let me know so I can add it to the count. And thanks again for adding so much to the list. I'm not sure exactly how many countries produced .900 or better silver, gold, or platinum coins. My goal is at least 100-125 countries out of around 200. In only two posts, you added about a third of the running total, which is pretty awesome! And I'd love to have a few coins in your collection, particularly the first Alderney, and East Caribbean States, Even the Turkey medallion theme is nice. Any Iliad or mythological theme is right up my alley.

Quote: I don't "think" that's an actual coin. It has the denomination, 30 YTL, or 30 Yeni Turk Lirasi (New Turkish Lira).

those bullion coins, such like Aussie Roos,Canadian maple or some other 999 silver content coin should NOT belong to world coins, they only bullions, therefore why ppl keeping upload & show their bullion coins to here? World coins only means circulate/used to be circulated coins from all around the world, those American/Aussie/Candaian/Kiwi's 1 oz coin not in circulation field so should NOT be post in this thread.

Quote: Euro,
The 2004 Finland is very nice. Thanks; I must have one! Thanks traevin, I doubt Moomin characters are known in other countries than in North Europe and Japan? I´m not sure about that. Of course those bullion coins don´t circulate but they are legal tender anyway. In some countries shops can say what coins/notes they accept and they can say "no to NCLT". Those bullion coins are also listed in Krause World Coin Catalog, not in Unusual Coin Catalog like some "fantasy pieces" and "medals" without legal tender status.

I actually wanted to talk to you about one of the "coins" that I hesitated to add but figured someone would tell me if it didn't qualify. Would a Switzerland Shooting Taler, or Thaler, be considered legal tender, or is the series more closely related to medals? As much as I love collecting them, I don't mind taking Switzerland out of the official count if it's not a true coin.
