I'll take a crack but only because I've been looking though the few I have and bumping them against photograde.

AU50 but the reverse looks a bit better then that.

I say AU55 because of the amount of luster left. The condition of the steps is mostly strike, and only a touch of wear.

I'm going to say AU-55 as well because I don't think the strike does the coin any justice.

Someone must have had this little beauty tucked away for a while. This might be the best 38 or 39 I have seen pulled from circulation. Excellent find! As for grade, the others have already nailed that down.
