Another roll find (found it in my 3,000th roll). condition? Almost looks like glue residue at 7 o'clock, maybe some acetone?

XF40-ish considering trapped dirt and eye appeal.

I've found a 38 and a couple 39s in AU - MS. I've always wondered if these were held onto for a long time and someone decided they weren't worth keeping or if they were stolen from someones collection and spent.

Nice coin, anyway!

I agree XF40. Maybe XF45 with the amount of luster left.

EF-40 looks about right to me although it is a bit hard to judge with the lighting on the picture.
