Actually, Canada Post never even had the fifty-cent Titanic piece listed for sale. I guess it was anticipated it would be a quick seller and none were allocated to that selling venue.

There are a couple of the 50Cent coins selling on ebay right now for $100 and more hope they keep going up.

Sales at around a 100 and the coin isn't even out yet. Crazy.

This is making me a little nervous. I ordered two of these from a dealer....who has already charged my cc even though they won't ship for at least 3 weeks. They were part of a much larger order too.

I ordered 2 of another sold out coin that is now selling at a premium from another dealer.

Based on past experience, I will be very unhappy if either of them short ship.

RCM has now pushed back delivery of the 50 cents by two weeks (April 20).

Would this affect the dealers, as well? You know, the online ones.

I set my coin at $149.99 hoping no one would bid on it.
Now I one bid and I have 11 people watching it.

The coins are selling for over $200 now in listings that are ending sooner.

I sure hope my 2 coins arrive now.

So is this $200 price because people want it now? Or does that price hold or even increase over a year or two. I'm just asking about historical price trends. I did pick up an extra one of these was wondering if I would have to sell now to take max advantage.

What search words are you using? I find the $10 and the quarter, but not the .50?

I am not entirely sure why it works this way but I believe these were listed on the Canadian ebay site and not the ebay.com site, therefore when you search, you don't see them...perhaps because they aren't listed to ship to the U.S.

If you go to the Canadian ebay site and search for Titanic under Canadian Coins you will see the fifty cent pieces. You can then add them to your watch list and they will show up in that list on the ebay.com site.

Strange but I can't type eBay-dot-ca on here without it changing automatically to ebay.com when I post!
Rest in Peace
