Hello all, just looking for thoughts on this 1985 D Cent. The bays looked double especially in Bay 5. I do not know what is going on in Bay 2 and 3. Also, wondering about the O and N in ONE, looks like DDD but just never seen it like this. Thank you for the help.

The O and N in ONE looks like Die Deterioration. Bay 5 is normal, the mint wanted it to look 3D. The other bays in question look like die clashes,IMHO.

Die abrasion/over polishing to cover die clashes.
