I recently picked up what is labeled as an 1868KB 1 Forint restrike, graded PF65 by NGC. I found it in Krause as #449.1. My question is this:

Does anyone know the mintage of this "restrike" issue?

Does anyone know when this "restrike" was minted -- was it restruck in 1868?

I have scoured the web and I cannot find any information about this coin other than that the design was a 2 year type issue (1868-1869), and the regular strikes from 1868 and 1869 were produced in approximate mintages of 500,000 pieces.

Below are my images of the coin. I purchased it because I really loved the reverse design.

Thanks for any help you can offer!

Both Austria and Hungary have a long history of official restrikes made several years later using the original dies. My guess is that this coin was restruck sometime during the 1950s or 60s.
