Bought this one at auction, won it for the top estimate but I have no clue if I did any good. Can anyone identify the signatures or tell me the FR# Its somewhere in the region of F-650 to F-663 I think.

Treasury signatures appear to be Elliott and Burke.
Bank signatures appear to be "Brown and Stoner" to my old eyes. JH Stoner was still the bank President according to the 1930 census. You can find a picture of him on his Findagrave page in Franklin County Pennsylvania. He died in 1947 at around 83 years old.
You can check "sold items" at HA.COM where you can get prices and figure out the FR number (It is free to use). I think it is a fairly "common" note and is worth somewhere in the 100 to 150$ range in this grade.
Thx for posting and good luck!

Ahh, thanks... so its F-659. Clearly Elliot and Burke but I was looking at the bank signatures and overlooking them! Well I overpaid on this then, which seems pretty standard... I left many bids and didn't win too much... certainly didn't really bag any bargains. Got this note too and still happy to add a couple more US notes given there seems a pretty scanty supply of them on this side of the pond.

I think it's more important that you like the item that you are overpaying for. With that being said, there are certainly limits. Paying $500 for a G4 1900s Indian Head cent is excessive, and certainly worse than paying, say, $75 for a common-date slider Morgan.

@DavidUK The picture of the Canton Ohio national shows some pink like discoloration. Any idea what this might be from? If these stains are present on a lower VF grade of VF 20 and ink on the lower left 10~ it doesn't make sense for PMG to grade the note EPQ with the stains and ink. There are several nationals with similar paper quality and no stains or ink that are not EPQ notes. Mechanical error?

I can tell you this must be something to do with the photo optimisation or camera because looking at it in hand there is zero pink on the note. Some dirt along creases but the paper looks clean otherwise.
You had me worried for a minute and from the images rightly so, but thankfully no such issues exist.

Probably one of my favorite finds ever. From a run of 500,000. XF/AU condition. Also found 69998* but not 69999, unfortunately.

Awesome circulation find coinsearcher83. That was printed earlier this year, in January.
