PCGS & NGC MS-65 Red. Now in the PCGS holder as one of only three they have graded as 65 Red. 1906 in high grades is a much tougher date than many collectors realize.

-- bosox-- I got to ask what's going on with the 4 corners of that beautiful penny? ---It almost looks like you took bites out of a Ritz cracker 4 times.

Newer slobbing holders have plastic tabs holding the coins so you can see the rims.

Thanks --biggfredd-- Personally I don't like. ---It it is distracting and takes away some eye appeal, especially on a coin in such great shape or any IMO. ---New isn't always better.

For coins where the rim isn't significant, it's a solution to a non-existent problem. There could still be a rim nick under the tab (tho I think one uses clear tabs).

1907 in ICCS MS-65 Red. Another under-rated date.
