I have a twoonie with a raised center, looks like it was not minted properly but I am not a coin collector, could this coin have any value more than $2?

I moved your welcome post to the 'Canadian Coins, Bank Notes, and Paper Money' forum for the proper attention.

I've seen a couple of these listed on ebay as 'partially pushed out cores'. Is your's indented on the opposite side by the same amount it's raised? They seem to go for a couple of bucks more for the novelty error.

Yes it is raised on one side and indented on the other, I can take a picture if that will help.
