So if anyone has seen Moe's ``Days of...``, you surely know the rules: Rules: On the first day, we all post pictures of all of our first year of mintage Large Cents (i.e., 1858) On the second day, we all post pictures of all of our second day of mintage Large Cents (1859, to include all varieties & errors) and so on, 'till we reach 1920. Schedule: 25 March: 1858 26 March: 1859 27 March: 1876H 28 March: 1881H 29 March: 1882H 30 March: 1884 31 March: 1886 1 April: 1887 2 April: 1888 3 April: 1890H 4 April: 1891 5 April: 1892 6 April: 1893 7 April: 1894 8 April: 1895 9 April: 1896 10 April: 1897 11 April: 1898H 12 April: 1899 13 April: 1900 14 April: 1901 (End Victoria Cents) 15 April: 1902 16 April: 1903 17 April: 1904 18 April: 1905 19 April: 1906 20 April: 1907 21 April: 1908 22 April: 1909 23 April: 1910 (End Edward VII Cents) 24 April: 1911 25 April: 1912 26 April: 1913 27 April: 1914 28 April: 1915 29 April: 1916 30 April: 1917 1 May: 1918 2 May: 1919 3 May: 1920 Remember: There is no day for each variety (like one day for 1907 another for 1907H) only one day for each date. I will begin tomorrow ( Sunday 25 March) at 11 AM forum time (or when I say go). Newfoundl, Nova Scotia New Brunswick and P.E.I. cents can be posted only if they corresponds with the date of the day. I have has the ``ANNOUNCING`` thread blocked so people don't post there. Let's hope Moe has some Canadians and he can participate in this! See you tomorrow! To foreigners: To people who want to post coins where it's past 11 AM on the 25 March in their countries, you will have to post your coins when I say ``go`` or it will cause confusion, sorry. See you today! Thanks you for your support of this topic and idea and your support for Canadian coins! Edited by Apollo 03/24/2012 11:18 pm

must correct you here: NS and NB as well as PEI have 1 cent dates as follows:
NS 1861-1862-1864 NB 1861-1864 PEI 1871 I think you mean the token penny coins...., real coins were minted on the dates I listed.

You are right, I had the wrong info. Thank you coingirl.
coincollect1, I like the idea of the NF, NB, NS and PEI cents being posted because I have some too, they're really nice.

Good morning everyone, It appears that my 1858 is the first one. And so it should be.... why? because it is one of the rarest and hard to find Variety. compare it with others which hopefully will follow today. this coin is much sought after and really hard to find. Then please post your findings and comments after you compare others. the coin variety is mentioned in the latest Charlton and in Rob turners books. here it is:
