So here is another in my 58 collection. This is a very scarce reverse and die pair. Rob Turner has this one listed as RB19 reverse and an OB5 obverse. Keep your eyes peeled for this variety, it is very scarce!

One of my 1859 W9/8 cents. From Dies OI1/RD2. My photos of this coin were on the cover of the Charlton Standard Catalog, 65th Edition.

1859 Canada large cent: I buy mixed lots of world coins at estate sales fairly frequently. If these lots have any age to them, they invariably contain Canadian large cents, not always in the condition preferred by collectors. I save them anyway. They all go into a box to be sorted at such future time when I am too frail to walk. I would not recognize a rare variety from a bus token. I'll post some that are handy and not too crusty for photos.

Nothing too special here, other than the fact that it was my first ever Large cent. 1859 Narrow 9 Low 9 (Haxby PC59-80a1 - thanks to nybird for pointing that out)
