Thank you

But you should thank mostly Moe instead for his topics that inspired me to do this.

Just wondering when those people who are posting pictures if they can make sure to put the variety with the picture, or explain what is special about it, or why it is rare. As being a younger collector I don't always know what to look for in the pictures and would appreciate the chance to learn with this great idea.

Thanks!

Gowan, it is a great idea..
but I believe this was just to post the coins.
I am sure if you ask about a specific coin, someone will be happy to answer your specific questions.
Do you have a Charlton 2012 catalog?
that should perhaps be your first investment. Lots of these coins are pictured and described there.
book is only around 20 dollars or so.

Not a gem, but still has a few neat things. Die crack on the reverse at 4:00 and the first A in GRATIA is odd looking. Is it repunched or PMD? Still waiting for my Charlton to arrive in the mail...

this 1876H is a interesting coin.
It has a complete doubled, perhaps even tripled Date. there is no question about the doubled...
Many Letters are Re-punched, also appears that large sections of the vine are doubled as well as some leafes.
the small images are only a small sample of the doubled letters.
If anyone wishes large images, please PM me.
there are a few interesting die breaks.
One a very thin and long in a perfect radius inside and parallel close to the beads from 7 to about 9 (leaf 11-13)
There also seems to be a rim issue on the reverse side to the right?
any comments would be appreciated.
