On the Obverse top of the head 3 holes and just below on his face a big S and to the bottom just under his neck 3 holes. My Question is, what on earth happened ? was this coin supposed to be destroyed by the government ? or something did it intentionally. There have been instances of governments marking a coin to make it a new denomination. I have no idea if any contemporary Greek coin was revalued this way... Report this Post to the Staff
