Still unanswered:

Sir, I send a rhyme excelling
in sacred truth and rigid spelling
numerical sprites elucidate
to me the lexicon's dull weight

I already gave the hint of:
Think Greek Dessert, but not necessarily a Greek dessert (think Greek and dessert)

How about the hint ... number?

How about the hint circle?

All hints point to π, but I still don't see it

Never mind, got it! Count letters!

The answer to that riddle is pie? Some one is going to have to spell that out for me.

Sure, it's "P - - i"

Way to go svslav!

Cajunlady - count the number of letters in each word (also note the comma!)
Sir = 3
I = 1
Send = 4
a = 1
rhyme = 5
etc.

This is the number you get if you take the circumference of a circle and divide it by its own diameter. It is used a lot in trigonometry and geometry. It is also "special" because it is a number of infinite decimal places that never end or repeat ("irrational").

And I also just noted I made a mistake in my posting of the riddle. The 4th line shoudl read "for me the lexicon's dull weight," not "to me the lexicon's dull weight."

Well..... there you go, Earle....... had you put that word 'for" in there correctly, I would have immediately got the answer. That makes sense now.

That sure was a hard riddle! WTG Svslav.

This will be a hard one to identify, I think.

Not so hard. It is obviously a close up of stevex6's toenails.

Wow! => apparently BLUESZONE knows me very well!?

=> my wife tells me that my creepy, horned toenails feel awesome when I drag them across her itchy back!

... yah sorry, I admit that's not a good visual, no matter how cute my wife actually is!

SIDE-NOTE:

=> BLUESZONE => NHL Playoffs are only a week away! (gotta love it!) ... the Western Conference is always a dog-fight! ... this year, your Blues look very good ... so do the Canucks and as alway, so do the Red Wings!

Yes, I figured this was the most plausible reason as to why you did not get it so I apologize for my ghastly oversight - I assure you it was done in innocence and not, by any means, an attempt to throw anyone off the track

BTW - just for the fun of it - I googled the first line and found the answer is online!

It never even crossed my mind to look up the answer...... as everyone can tell by my not-so-intelligent answers I try to figure them out without looking.

That is fun in all of this.... use the brain power (or lack there of, in my case) to figure them out. :)

NOT EVEN CLOSE, Blueszone.

Actually, you got the close up part correct. But, it is a close up of what?

The pic reminds me of a closeup of the center of a daisy (or some other flower)?

Steve,
Blues are the Chicago Cubs of hockey. They always find a way to throw it away.
As long as those dang Red Wing don't win it'll be OK. I'd even root for a Canuck[whatever that is] over a Red Wing any day.
P.S. Next Wednesday is punch a Red Wing fan in the neck day in Missouri.

Not correct.

NOTE: When people find out what it is, it may make you want to "up chuck".
