OO...oo... I know this one. I am myself (the speaker)...?

"That man" is my son, so that man's father (me) is my father's son.

Cowrecked.

(why tie a 15' rope on a horse if you don't anchor it?)

that is what the assumption was... that the end of the 15' rope was tethered to something so it would have been impossible for the horse to reach the hay. BUT......... the other end of the rope was loose so the horse was not restrained even being tied to the rope. I took the question to ask: horse on 15' rope is still 10 foot shy of hay...... which is 25' from the other end of the rope.

I did not make that riddle up..........I copied it. That was the answer posted to the riddle, which made sense to me, but your answer also makes sense.

Steve, you are correct............."and" is the answer. Unfortunately, V.D. is not correct answer to the "what I am" riddle.

Detective Thompson decided to hire a new assistant. He had three candidates and he decided to give them a quiz.

He said, "Look Guys, there's a crime that needs to be solved and there's a clue in one of the public libraries in Brooklyn. The clue is stuck inside a book, between pages 165 and 166.

Two of the guys jumped up and bolted out the door. The third guy just sat there. Detective Thompson said to the man who remained, "You got the job."

Why did he get the job?

There is no between pages 165 and 166. 165(obverse), 166(reverse)?

One snowy night, Detective Thompson was in his house reading a book while sitting by a fire. All of a sudden a snowball came crashing through his window, breaking it. Thompson got up and looked out the window just in time to see three neighborhood brats who were brothers run around a corner. Their names were Alan Jones, Mark Jones and Peter Jones.

Underestimating Thompson's reputation as a cunning detective, the two innocent brats teased him by sending a note with a clue on it to Thompson's front door. The note reads "? Jones. He broke your window."

Which one of the three Jones brothers should Thompson question about the incident?

How quickly can you find out what is unusual about this paragraph? It looks so ordinary that you would think that nothing was wrong with it at all and, in fact, nothing is. But it is unusual. Why? If you study it and think about it you may find out, but I am not going to assist you in any way. You must do it without coaching. No doubt, if you work at it for long, it will dawn on you. Who knows? Go to work and try your skill. Par is about half an hour.

Name ten body parts that are spelled with three letters. No slang words.

You've just purchased your first new home. When you arrive to beginning moving in, you discover that the builder forgot something. Being a self-reliant sort of person, you decide to finish the job yourself. You stroll down to the local hardware store and find exactly what you need at a price you can afford. The hardware store charges perfectly reasonable prices for the items; 7 will cost $1.00, 10 will cost $2.00, and 100 will cost $3.00. As it happens, you need 880, which also costs $3.00.

These items could likely be found at any hardware store, and at your average home.

What did the builder forget?
