Hi everyone!

I was looking through my change and found "10 cents 2001 Volunteers - Die grooves on the obverse", wasn't sure what it was - so looked it up. I tried taking pictures, but they didn't seem to come out. I need advice on how do you guys take pictures where you can see so much detail? Because I also found a 2007 Caribou quarter with 3-4 missing dots above "D and A" in "CANADA"..., but couldn't find any information about it. And it seems like without pictures no-one would believe me or be able to help me....

Thank you...

Hello Russian... there is a forum on here labeled coin photography. Searching the topics in there may help answer your questions better. Personally I use a pentax dslr camera for my photos. I also have a usb microscope that I can take pictures with. Your quarter with the missing beads could have been Struck Through Grease or perhaps a weak strike.

Thank you very much for information. I have a 10Mega Pixel CANON, which obviously is too outdated... I guess it's time to buy something that suits my needs better...
Any suggestions on where to take the quarter to have a professional take a look at it?

A 10 mp camera should give you good pictures. I shoot my pics at 12.6 mp with a standard 18-55 mm lens and then crop them with my camera's software. If there is a coin shop where you live, take it there.

Dot on nose (witch? Haha)
Joker like smiling frown. So much sorrow in that expression
Her cheeks look like she has pox, acne, or some sideburns stubble
What seem to me numbers small all over the coin.
Under queen Elizabeth espexially under the II looks weirdly like 100
Doubling on 10 cents
Just so much going on I have a headache

What's going on are the H and T in Elizabeth holding hands? Like come on
