I stopped at a Wells Fargo and discovered they had several hundred dollars worth of customer-wrapped half dollar rolls so I picked them up. It wasn't the mother lode I imagined but there were some 40% silvers plus a Franklin and a 1964. I was quite surprised to find these two proofs. The photos greatly exaggerate the scuffs; in-hand they are attractive, brilliant proofs with only minor marks and no toning. Some proofs from these years have strong cameo contrast but these examples are "brilliant" with no cameo effect. Still, not too bad!
Wow thats a great score. Typically when a bank has more then 100$ in cwr I find it is a dump, and never have luck, thats a nice score. Did you buy all the rolls available? If not Id be back asap to snag the rest.
