I have a decent currency collection that I need to sell due to money issues. It consists of stars, shorts run stars, straps of CU stars, Strap of CU Barrs w/stars, webs, Hawaii, N. Africa, USN's, silver certs, a few errors, and some gold certs. I haven't bought any paper from our selling forums here, only coins, and I hardly ever see currency listed here. Is this a site that I should list these items in the selling forum or is there lack of interest and am I better selling them on ebay? Thanks for your thoughts, Brian |

I agree,
I'm still buying but at this time my small size currency collection is just about compleat other than some of the more modern common notes that I just haven't gotten around to adding to the collection.
If you have any Large size currency I'm still trying to add to that collection.

I sold a decent amount on another site, still alot left though. I will give some a try here. I'm not sure how to post pics so I'll be posting a link to pics of the notes (via photobucket) in my sales description. I'll post here when I get some notes listed...

It would be good to see what you trying to sell and what type of response you get.
FWIW, I had listed some currency (mainly stars) that never sold here. Most of my listings were for short run pairs of $1 and $2 (all chcu notes)...This was more than a year ago. However 2 star packs I had did sell after about a month or so.
The other draw back here is that after the sale forum was redesigned it's impossible to do groupings of notes. Meaning, let's say you have 10 radars for sale...ergo 10 listings. As very few would want to buy all 10 radars.

Same for me, I'm still trying to complete my modern Small Size collection and would sooner buy form some of the members here rather than from someone unknown.
