Not likely look at the ladybug coin it is still selling at a nice premium and you can bet there will be at least 2 more coins in this series which will sell even faster now since the bumble be sold 10,000 in four days. What's next a grasshopper?

The secondary market might already be too saturated. I havn't seen a bid on the coin yet. I don't get what the Mint is doing? There are basically distributing their coins to people who are only re-selling them. This is creating an unstable environment for collectors. How many coins are in the hands of collectors, and how many are in the hands of dealers? Are real collectors even getting these?

well I am sure there are more than 10,000 masters club members they are not all being sent to dealers and other sellers. As for ebay I am sure people were waiting for them to be available to the public now that they have sold out watch them sell easily now at a high premium

@Silverbug - Possibly but I think a butterfly would be too big. IMO, it has to be a small bug that stays somewhat in proportion to the flower and fits into a plastic display case. Hmmmm. Ant? Spider?
On the current coin: The general public are blissfully unaware of this coin. Yes collectors like us have known about it for a week but lots of folks don't have any idea it even exists.
To be sure, dealers are buying lots of the new issues but collectors (like us) are still getting them. Dealers sell to collectors so collectors are getting the coins through that channel too; albeit at potentially inflated prices.
You may not see any bids on the current actions because no one is looking for this coin yet. Still, one sold yesterday for 199.99 USD

Really disappointed by this, hopefully there are still some saved for the general release but if there isn't, it seems like really poor planning.
At least the Jays finally won in 16 to cheer me up!

if general public can't buy it, they may give up it even the series.

I did order only one of the BB coins. I think that's the true spirit of the Masters club. Those that are profiting on others due to the sell out, well, it's kinda shameful from a community point of view isn't it?

I wonder what would happen if the Mint decided to increase the Mintage on this? It hasn't actually been released yet.

Having purchased a ladybug coin off ebay I have to say having the secondary market benefitted me as I was able to get a coin. If only pure collectors had them then I would not be able to buy one. Now with the bumble bee hopefully I make up some of the premium I had to pay to get the ladybug.

Quote: "give me a break this is my business I am in it to make dollars " Sir, I can appreciate your business, as I do my local coin dealer, perhaps, I'm in the wrong community forum. I just thought this was a friendly community forum, not a scrum where everybody was out for a buck. I certainly see a lot more disappointed folks then those saying "I picked up 20 of these, and 50 of those... I'm going to be rich rich rich!" I can appreciate your speculations on a particular coin, but I'm not interested in hearing how you're at it to fleece the next guy on ebay or the like. In advance, I apologize if this steps on somebody's toes, but I bet there are more here who think this way....then your way.

I have to say this is a sensitive topic since there are both non MC's and MC members. It isn't really the MC members fault if the Mint opens the vault to them. Who doesn't like easy money? But saying that, I have to point my frustration at the Mint for allowing this to happen. It sort of takes the fun out of collecting. I understand giving MC members the chance to get the coins before anyone else as that's the way it should be. But by allowing more than one sale on the pre-release is only creating a whole bunch of satellite dealers, with exception to those that buy multiple coins for family members. The Mint is going to create a forum war between the two groups.
