Over a 1000 rolls with no 98 WAM's, I pick one up in change at a gas station. It's not pretty but I'll take it.

I owed a few dollars and 53 cents. As I was going through my change, the look on the workers face was confusion since I clearly had 2 quarters and 3 cents for exact change but gave him 60 cents instead. I never give exact change just so I can get cents back in change. Does anyone else do that?

Always nice to find one of those. Don't confuse the clerks too much. I've seen register people that, when given assorted amounts of cents to get a dime, nickel or quarter back, look at you with a quizzed look on their face. I just tell them to punch in the amount tendered into the register and it will give the change due back amount. So many people, even in a bank, have minimal math skills.

Since debit cards have become the norm, I don't get anywhere near the change that I used to get in the old days.

I absolutely do that. I'll even take a peek at the "Give a penny, Take a penny" dish at the cash register. I have no shame.

Here's the obverse. Not great but it's off the list.

Now on to that dreaded 99.

Nice find chickenboy,

The wife and I use credit for everything, so like Rob213 I also will delve into the give and take on occasion. Since I found a nice Cud about a year ago, and still find wheats, it really doesn't bother me any more. It still seems to bother my wife a lot though.
