He just sold me the rest of the coins he got, minus the two "shiny" halves..

I got 35 Ikes, 67 halfs all clad 20 susan bs, 2 rolls of Buffalo nickels, 6 rolls of quarters (some uncircutated rolls) and one or two rolls of bicentenials, a roll of wheats mostly teens and 20s, and 30s, with tons of "S", and 3 late 70's rolled nickels. all for face value!

So I've been focusing mainly on learning the lincolns for now as to not get too overwhelmed. I did go through the buffalos so far and found a 1924d which I posted in the classic thread.

Pennies and War Nickels aside.. anything in particular I should be looking for in the ikes, halves, susan b's, or quarters? I know about the 32d quarter, but that's about it.
Rest in Peace

I didn't know about the near rim on the SBA's, thanks.

Upstate, are you from upstate ny? I'm from montour falls, which is between Ithaca and Elmira, about and hour and a half south of Rochester. Also, I havent even busted into the quarter rolls yet, but i'd assume that there is no silver ones, as the original owners already had the silver halves, and silver dimes already separated. The sad thing is another uncle had already snatched up a huge pile of morgan's. I guess all of the coins that I ended up with was only 1/4 of the lot.

I live South of Syracuse. Do you ever go to Hennesy coin auctions in Geneva?

And more importantly do you hunt deer in that beautiful area you reside?

I haven't been to any coin auctions yet, geneva is only about 45 mins from here.. I'm going to look into that. I don't deer hunt but I eat A LOT of deer! Basically everyone in my family hunts. I'm more of an angler. I hold the records for largest musky, walleye, and crappie out of all of my friends and family members :)
