It would be quite odd to have a weak strike on the obverse and reverse, but I'm no expert. If it's a weak strike, it could go 66. It's... hehehe... Striking. The fields are beautiful. The die crack across the top ought to be a dead giveaway for a VAM for one of our experts. Report this Post to the Staff

D0ubl3Eagle Pillar of the Community United States 5854 Posts	Posted 04/10/2012 5:53 pm Coins can be more challenging to grade from scans especially in AU and up. These are the grades that luster has some effect on grade. With that said, your coin looks like a beauty. It looks like marks are quite scarce on this coin. The coin could have a touch of wear which would make it an AU-58+ but a very nice one. My feeling based on the overall look of the coin, is the weakness in the breast feathers is from strike. I think this coin could grade at least MS-65 and possibly a MS-66. Report this Post to the Staff
