MathieuMa Pillar of the Community France 1591 Posts	Posted 04/12/2012 05:43 am It's been a while since I saw a French coin here :) This one is from the Lyon mint (mint master is the sitting dog - it corresponds to Citoyen (citizen) Papet) About 1.574.072 were made (including variations this year / mint) Year 7 means 1799 : 7 years after 1792 - when the republican calendar was created after the French revolution (this calendar was used till 1806) Edited by MathieuMa 04/12/2012 06:05 am Report this Post to the Staff
