So does that mean my other coins i.e. glass bee and evening grosbeak, which are part of the glow in the dark dino order, will be delayed as well? Or does the Mint sometimes send the coins separately?
This really stinks, would be nice if they gave us an extra dino coin for all the trouble.

You should call them and request that they send the coins separately, rather than waiting for everything to be in stock and sending it all together.
I really hope that they don't change their mind on the shipping dates for the dino anymore. This is getting very frustrating.

I received my glass bees and painted quarter bee last week. I received the Sugar Maple 3.5 months ago. They were all on the same April 2nd order as the Dinos and the Grosbeak which are now delayed until Oct 31 and Oct 2 respectively.
The Mint regularly sends partial orders. I received my Grey Cup dollar last week too but the evening Grosbeak on the same order has yet to ship.

I phoned the RCM yesterday regarding my dino coin. They told me they are still in backorder and the expecting date is pushed to October. So sad..... |

Well, on the bright side, it's just another month.
I've got several coins in that order, would be nice if they could split it up.

I emailed to get my avatar switched to the dinosaur since it's my first coin. I think that is appropriate.
I called the mint today too. My dino is coming in October. Looks like 2-4 weeks right now.

@Fiance Guru. You are so excited about the dino coin. Hope you are not disappointed when have them in hand.
IMO, I don't like this coin much. But it is absolute a great gifts for kids.

FinanceGuru => are you choosing the "glow in the dark" view, or the non glow in the dark view? (I think the "black" cirlcle with the skeleton would be a very cool avatar) ...   Edited by stevex6

@BiBo - I'm sure I'll love the coin since it is the first of many in my collection. @Steve - Good point. Since we're all coin enthusiasts, I guess the actual metal doesn't need to be seen. I think those who collect from RCM will instantly recognize the avatar. Now I have to go think it over again. |

Gatewest and colonial both have shipments of dino's in now just got confirmation on 3 orders shipped today

Ummm, did they actually change/tweak the ol' "recipe", or is this second wave of dino-coins merely slow in being completed?  |
