Picked this up from the post office today, I don't normally go for the coloured silver But I think this one deserves a place in my collection of 1oz coins.

G'day Mschipp,Very nice of someone to give them to you,there is a few nice halfpennies there.
Is there a couple of mistrike threepences in the bottom row 2nd from right & 2nd from left ? or it an illusion of the pic ?

Its a good starters collection to build from. Lucky you.. I also think those threepence's look a little like miss strikes but it may well be the photo. Are you able to take closeups of those?

Did they model the reverse images from photographs? And one of the photographs was of your grandfather?
