This is the 1916 shilling I picked up last month. Not as nice as I thought it would be  It has plenty of remaining lustre but has a lousy strike on the obverse. It does however have a nice cud/die crack on the roo's back on the reverse however, Si I;m not totally disappointed with it.

... congratulations enworb   That coin is also on my Very Important Coin "VIC" list !. One day maybe....  Squire PS. trout1105 - it still looks like a very nice 1916 shilling to me  , and the " Cud" gives it character. I have read somewhere that the early threepences, sixpences and shillings sometimes had this poor strike for particular years...

Beautiful sixpence  Is that a die crack running through the top of VS V on the obverse ?

That sixpence looks at least MS64 - a great buy for $10.

Yeh its a faint die crack good spotting. I didnt noticet it until I got home with it.
I was thinking ChUNC for that one.

I dont have my catalogue on to check but isn't AB 32 the last prefix of the first polymer $10 issue?
