I was cruising through my Krause Catalogue and noticed this date is way more expenisve than the others, in UNC. So I was wondering if this would be worth more than Face Value ?

1997 10¢ was not released to circulation; only available in mint sets. So, definitely worth more than face value.
McDonald gives UNC as $10 and proof (strangely) only $5.00.

She looks like shes been through a bit of circulation. You would still get more than face on ebay, though proabably not $10 as the catalogue suggest for an UNC coin.

It does have a much lower mintage than many issues though.

I hang onto all 1985, 1991 and 1997 10c as they are the lowest mintage circulation years.

Kingz, your coin would be worth more than 10c to a collector, but you won't be able to retire on the proceeds.
