That's tough when the weight gets to be too much to carry in hurry. You have my sympathies.

Hmmm, do I detect a note of sarcasm there? Oh, well. Fact is, if the SHTF, we will ALL be needing some sympathy because it is gonna be a terrible situation for everyone. Yes, it will be worse for some than for others but it will be no picnic for any of us.

Ed's right, as usual. And if it gets bad enough, you'll have a tough time telling the difference between the previous rich and poor very quickly. And we'll all wish we had become gentlemen farmers on some ranch in Idaho.

OK, not a problem either way, just difficult to tell via computer.

Heh, I'm ALREADY wishing that! Of course, there are those Idaho winters to consider.

Just took the time to calculate it out. Stupid coins of various countries varying in fineness and being odd weights. Thank you Franklin half dollars for making up a significant chunk of this. My total silver weight comes in at 1 lb 10.84 ounces (troy).

I don't really have all that much silver.

SaintRidley,

I know what you mean. I had about 400 coins to calculate. Must have taken 12 hours.

Maybe not in absolute terms but when compared to those ounces per person on Earth figures that get published, you are rolling in it! lol

Besides that, we all started somewhere with silver or gold collecting. The amount that you have just means that you are on the right path with it and just need to keep going with it.
