Here are two more famous (or infamous?) colored bullion coins.
I kinda like the colors on them myself. So long as they are not price much over the bullion price...

I mean, a person should buy what they like right?

For me it's as much about the art as anything else; particularly with the NCLTs. I've liked a number of these post-mint variations I've seen but am saving my money for completing my sets of issue coins so haven't bought any yet.
