Quote: Whoever it was who calculated (or just guessed) that silver would finish at $28.65 was by far the closest to the mark. Pretty impressive, sir. There were TWO very close quesses! wrestling had $28.40 - only 25 cents low, and 1893S had $28.85 - only 20 cents high! Both are very close!

Canadian-Banknotes nearly nailed it $28.65. I was going off what I thought was the close at $28.62; but if it's still going on in some other part of the world then my apologies.

I wish I could say that wasn't a complete guess... Still a nice price increase though

Well, I predicted about 10 cents too high. Higher prices to come next week. Hope some of you got to buy on this weeks dip, might not go that low again for awhile.

It's interesting that PMs had been tracing the U.S. equity markets pretty well this month UNTIL yesterday! They broke free (or were allowed to break free) for about 36 hours and bumped up nicely. Whether that can continue is anybody's guess but if the U.S. equity markets continue to deteriorate over the next 2 weeks heading into June, sub-$25 silver is very possible this summer.
I'm basing this on history of course, it was less than 4 years ago that silver fell from $21 to $9 in 8 months as the financial crisis unfolded. Current prices look really good for a long term hold as the bubble of U.S. Dollars will continue to grow.
P.S. On a gold note: If you guys ever want to look at something cool, overlay a chart with the U.S. National Debt and the price of gold for the last 40 years.

I got a few ounces last week and am now wondering if that little buying opportunity is over. I would have gotten more but I'm a little cash poor at the moment.

If element 47 is heading north in price per 31.1 grams, I'm glad I snagged a few good halves today.

Yes, I have seen that chart and it draws quite a picture. A chart like that could easily be labeled as "Why I Buy Gold". Another chart that is fairly instructive is the one that charts the Dow 30 stock market vs. Gold. Looked at in that light, the returns from the stock market are not as rosy as CNBC and others would have us believe.

I've found some very interesting reading which implying further price drop. Note: Don't know much about chart reading but his presentation seemed convincing, what are your takes? http://www. I stopped by my local shop yesterday. They said still plenty of 90percent and still 3percent over spot. He said most likely will stay unless silver goes to 20 or less. I was happy to hear. I still have to wait a bit but happy about price. He also sells any amount so no min purch ASE

Yeah, I agree, that is a great shop. I have one shop with great prices and another with great selection. Would be great to have both features in the same shop but so far not... here anyway.

$28.15 to start the day. Hmm... The upward momentum doesn't seem to be holding.
