Probably is just my glass half full attitude Merc, but if it did stay sub 30 for the rest of the summer I would not be surprised and that would just keep a nice buying window open for I an many and is what I would prefer to occur....

If there is any short term money to made in PM's in the next few months, maybe gold will get close to 2 grand again still yet this year, but if that did happen silver would have to follow an be in the mid 40's at least if gold was to flirt with two grand still yet this year....

Am I reading your last paragraph correctly? I haven't been on the main site for about a week.

One way or another I would like to see a big swing this month.

Silver moves up, I'll be happy to unload some, silver drops, I'll be happy to add to my collection.

This whole 50 cent tennis match is getting boring.

I dont think it is too stable. it is on the verge of a major rise. once something breaks in europe or a QE3 starts silver will rocket up for a few months before it comes back down to where it is now

Hmmmm.... Methinks the buying window may have just closed. Pity, too -- I was really hoping to get a nice 100 ounce Engelhard silver bar if it dipped back below $28 again...

This thread might not be accurate for much longer. $29.50 in early morning trading. Fairly large leap from just last week. What's driving the rise? I could guess, but that's all it would be.

Who knows anymore. Up and down. No rhyme or reason. Just have to try to buy when down and not worry about missing the absolute low!

There would be opportunity to buy when it drops for a day or two, but I agree that with the market moving up, so will PM.

I have been stacking this whole time with the hopes I get to 2000 oz before we hit $30 again.

BarryG,

Bet your loving this run? Can't believe you didn't buy at least 100 oz bar.

I would have, except that I bought two monster boxes of silver coins (ASEs and Maples) back when silver dipped just below $31 and I was forbidden to buy any more when it immediately dipped $3 lower...

You know you don't have to buy 500 oz at a time? I think we may see mid 30's by the end of summer.
