I am doing the PDSS set as well. I figured the dansco would be worth more than the coins if I juts did P and D. So now I'm going the distance. The silver proofs are awesome though.

Wait until you have to buy the first year of issue. Hint: Be sitting down before you start looking online. Plan on $100 + just for that first set.
It has come down some since I completed mine. I waited until the very end to buy the first set of Silver quarters - $159.00. Explain that charge
on the debit/credit card to your better half ROF

I "still" need some '99 Silvers to complete "my" Dansco ! ....

I'd been hoping Silver prices would plummet, so that I could afford to get em' sometime .....

The Silver ATB's I'll have with the annual S. Proof sets I buy from the Mint each year, but I have not purchased the Dansco as of yet to house them.
I think I'll wait awhile too. Like maybe when I have 6 or 8 plastic lenses to crack instead of just 3.
At least I won't have any "holes" in my ATB Dansco (when I get it) since now A.L.L. of the years coins can be taken from the Sets......... (meaning the Satins are history !)
No more "holes"........no more "going back" to try to buy a Silver Proof Set or a certain year Proof Set.......no more "roll searching" for suitable business strikes to put in the album..... whatever.......I buy ALL of the available sets each and every year now ! ...
Sure wish I'd have been doing that back in 1998 and 1999 ! ....

I always see these sets when I'm flipping around on TV with "coin collector" or "coin vault" and them saying "they will only go up in value because they dont make them anymore" LOL
