If it looks familiar, it's because it was in the classic grading forum earlier this year. For those of you that haven't seen it... It was purchased raw and graded MS66 by NGC! It was a fun grading exhibit coin due to the die polish and how close it looks to be a proof, those are not scratches, and yes it was almost a cameo in appearance. This type of graded shot (66 grade) is also great to have available for comparative purposes going forward since many members, including myself, are often gun-shy when designating any coin a 66 or higher. Many times when grading coins using only photos shown over the Internet the results are subject to distracting factors like incorrect lighting, glare, computer screen settings etc. all of which can often produce inconsistent results...
