Looks like it's 180 degrees upset. Interesting. I'm sure he got asked enough questions about what the sides looked like that he actually got around to putting pictures up.
Trust it? Hmm...if it is legit, it's price is probably two times more than it'd cost from through auction.

It has a 14 day refund which is more than enough time to have it checked out by a professional.
But if I had a spare $5,000 burning a hole in my wallet I can think of nicer coins/notes to buy

This 20c is way too thick to be even considered a genuine 20c Australian Coin yet alone a double "tails" 20c Please report this to ebay and contact seller telling him your thoughts,I just did

Copy of my reply to this grub
Dear dean,
Well o'l mate..I guess your one of these blokes who doubts everything except yourself, just for the record you would have to be "Blind Freddy" not to recognise the coins authenticity, otherwise it must be the greatest forgery recorded, which makes it even rarer....go annoy someone else!

Will be interesting to see the answer. Hi there, I am interested in your double tailed 20 cent coin. Can you let me know what provenance or guarantees of being genuine you have for this coin please. This is a lot of money to invest and I would like to be assured that this coin is genuine Kind regards Jim

in pic 1 the mirror image has the coin sitting low in the peg, the side facing the camera is not as low, 2 is the same. pics 3 and 4 look at the edge of the coins. pic 5 the side of the peg appears parallel in the mirror. pic 6 in the peg the coin is leaning towards the camera, the mirror shows it leaning the same, not a mirror image of it leaning away?

Whilst I would NEVER consider buying this coin from ebay and would NEVER pay that much I am thinking it MAY be genuine. I cannot see any join at all on the side. Would be interesting to examine in hand with a loupe. I wouldn't be too quick jumping at this bloke, he may actually be selling a genuine piece.

I'm with enworb. I think it's genuine too (and I'm usually quite the skeptic). The 'thickness' of the coin may just be due to the angle of the camera.
Perhaps the provenance of the coin is that his relation was one of the mint employees who made the coin - which is why there might be a hesitancy in openly sharing the coin's history.
