The medalist Hoernlein produced this famous German coin, which has been issued in 1917 during WWI in 100 pieces only. This makes a difference in estimated price of 10.000 EURO, not more. Taking the offers on auctions, this is of course a coin which seems to be not that rare. It is estimated than of the 100 pieces onces strucked, about 50 pieces still exists. Some of them are circulating on different auctions.
