Seriously, you got that 1921 25c for $10? Was it a "buy it now" typo?

The seller was asking $3000, Glenn offered $10 and he accepted. There's something about his remark "I got it for a song", and I'm curious.

Did he mean to list the coin as an auction? But set it up as a Buy-it-Now instead?

I'm somewhat on the fence with that purchase, good for you glenzy but I don't think I would have felt quite right about taking ownership of the coin at that price. Fair is fair, but the owner must be a VERY TRUSTWORTHY and Honorable to be selling it to you for $10. I just don't think a person that is willing to send the coin at that price should be penalized because of their mistake. Does this make any sense?

JMHO, disclaimer: I do not know the individual on ebay nor do I purchase off of ebay.

RogerD, I agree with you 100% with what you are saying. The owner in an e-mail he sent stated he made a mistake in hitting the "accept" button instead of the "decline" button and as a result will chock this up as a learning experience (& embarrassment). I offered to opt out of the purchase, however, the owner states coin will be sent out to me!
OOHHH well, I feel guilty about the win and perhaps contiplating sending him my I.C.C.S., 1902, MS-63 dime that I currently have listed as a good measure of faith, once I receive the '21 quarter.

Glenn
