High grade '71-'72 clad ikes, and any 40% Ikes and Kennedys. I activley hoard ASE's.........wish I could afford to hoard more!!

I've watched that show 'hoarders'. I've often thought it would be cool to have little paths through stacks and stacks of ASE's all over the house.

It least they would not stink or attract bugs & vermin. The only danger would be from the floor colapsing under the weight of it all!

Mach1,

In the interest of safety for a fellow Collector and Stacker.
ASE's inside the appropriate sized Steel pipe can actually be used
on each side of your support columns in your basement to reinforce the floor so that you can safely store More Monster Boxes on the
main floor a little more safely.
Hey what do you know dual purpose Columns, Storage and Support

I hoard any AU 2009 Cents I find in circulation, because:
1. They're zinc, so they won't be AU if they circulate for several more years.
2. Plenty of BU rolls have been saved, so ten years from now, you'll still be able to easily find BU coins, but any 2009 Cents left in circulation by then will be corroded junk (except for the rare but inevitable cases of coins spent from raided collections).
3. TPG populations for AU-grade 2009 Cents will be ridiculously low, because of the above factors. I have an AU 2009-D Log Cabin that's a perfect, evenly toned brown (which makes it look like a copper coin). A brown you can't get simply from pocket-piece-ing it.
Could this be on the Bay ten years from now?
"PCGS AU-55 CAC 2009-D Log Cabin, pop. 1"
For one cent, I can afford to take the chance.

If I were to hoard a modern coin it would either be Franklin halves or the 1964 Kennedy's.

Well, you can use the tags manually, like so: [ quote ] This is a quote [ / quote ] (minus the spaces inside the brackets). So it would look like:

Quote:
No, thank you. 15 is my limit on schnitzengruben.

Or you can click the "Reply to Topic" link and use the "Insert Quote" button which will automatically paste those tags for you, and then you just type in between the tags.

Hope this helps.

Anything that looks like an error on a coin. Never know. Other than that the early Ikes 71, 72. ASE's are a little to pricey to hoard. Anything silver I guess.

Just my opinion
