Are you sure thats the Mailed Bust it looks a bit like the Draped Bust? Either way that is a heck of a off center strike.

You may be correct. I looked under a 10X. Hard to tell. I made my best guess :-)

The areas that I pointed out are the reasons that make me think its a Draped Bust. From left to right This looks like the pattern on the chest clothing its unlike the solid chest piece on the Mailed The C fold on the cothing isn't present on the Mailed The ribbon is much thinner on the Mailed

I think you confirmed it. I did notice the ribbon but am looking now at the other two areas :)

Alrighty Vermontensuim thats a Vermont copper to be proud to own. I've seen a few of those but without that late die reverse they are difficult for me to attribute.

Looks like a Conn Center strike to me, not a bust!

Yeah, he's a little banged up but you don't see too many! I jumped on it a few years back :-)

How much did it cost you if you don't mind me asking? Did you buy it unattributed?

60 bucks is a good deal for most coppers but something that is as rare as that is a steal. I have four Landscapes but only two are going to make this list. None of which are going to match your picture.

Your too kind and thank you :-) Can't wait to see your Landscapes! Such a beautiful design. Too bad Reuben Harmon was forced to change it after two years although some believe Harmon requested the change himself.
