Yeah I think that design is probably my second favorite of the coinage of the time period.(You won't find out my first for a few more days) Tomorrow is the day for my landscape. I didnt realize he was forced to change it at all I thought it was all his choice. Learn something new everyday.

Not really forced to change the design but rather, much pressure from the surrounding colonial legislatures, as there was nothing that resembled the beauty of the landscape coppers, even though the general populace loved the design. There was an influx of British Halfpence that were underweight, and unwanted. Harmon, protecting his coining interests and privileges, adopted the new design to resemble the Connecticut Coppers of the time, which apparently, were widely accepted. Can't wait to see your landscape!.... Quote: (You won't find out my first for a few more days)

This thread makes me so frustrated. I have coins I want to post but copper coins don't scan well and I have no camera. I want to play too.

Well dang it Jfransch go to your neighbors house and ask for their camera. You have 5 days left plenty of time to get caught up.

I have got to find someone with a good camera. Maybe I can drive down to Vermontensium's house and he can photograph them for me. At least he lives in the same state.
