Poll Question
Anonymous Poll - It'd be interesting to find out how many tow loons were ordered alone by the coin community members

That's around 90+ coins so far, that averages out to about 5 coins per person. With only 10,000 coins that means the coin will sell out within 2,000 orders give or take. That's most likely going to mean a sellout before it hits general circulation. This doesn't even account for Canada Post and Mint retail and dealer allocations.

That's around 180+ coins so far. Still averages out to about 5 coins per order. I'm predicting an early sell out.

looks like we're stuck at 46 votes counted. Around 200+ coins sold to just MC members here. Still averaging around 5 coins per transactions. The interesting thing is it's not sold out yet. Might be some available for regular buyers next week.

I almost guarantee the 2 loons will still be available to regular buyers. It's very rare that a coin doesn't make it to the general release date. Even the bumble bee made it to the general public and this coin won't do nearly as well as that one. I'm a masterclub member and I haven't ordered any, I'm waiting to see how it does and if it does really well I'll grab 10 or 20 from canadapost or a secondary source.

It really stinks for us non-Master Club members that you can't post pics anymore. I have absolutely no idea what this coin is or why people are getting so pumped about it.

Pictures are posted a couple pages back it's not a picture of the actual coin but the coin looks almost identical

I still can't believe that so many people seem interested in buying 5 or 10 of a $100 coin. There must be a stock that would provide better return for $1000, for less work.
I do kind of like the design on this coin but knowing that so many people are hopelessly speculating on it makes me less likely to buy it, not more. It guarantees that there will be plenty of coins on the secondary market.
Btw, I'm not trying to be critical, I just honestly don't understand.

@sixofclubs, I personally believe the same has gone on for all popular coins, however, this time we actually see the numbers. Next time, when everyone discuss a popular coins, you can anticipate something similar going behind the scene :)

Quote: There must be a stock that would provide better return for $1000, for less work. Could buy Face Book Stock. It's up around 8% so far. Don't hold on to it to long, most internet IPO drop after a few months. This coin is a guaranteed return, how much is hard to tell. I'm guessing the coin will sell for $130-$170 in the aftermarket. Could go over $200, not a big mint run. As for the image. Here is the original art. Come to your own conclusions.

I definetly wouldn't say it's a guaranteed return

Thanks for the pic Dooby. I've actually been scaling back my NCLT purchases lately, so I don't know if I'd get this one. Guess I'll decide once I see it, although it looks like I'll have to decide fast once it's on sale to the general public.
