Quote: lol, how many people here are waiting for the moment when 'sold out' sign emerging? I confess I am the one... Yah, I'm waiting to. I am a collector / speculator. I can admit it. Whats wrong with financing your collection with a little speculation. I thought it would be sold out by now. Kind of supprised it went so long. I knew to buy more when my local dealer told me the original min run was to be only 2,500. When the mint raised their production number I knew this would be a popular coin.

That Two Loons top banner on the mint website is gone too. I'll have to search for a cached version. It was a nice picture to go along with the coin.

@tocoins My understanding is that the pool is to help us predicting how fast the coin will be sold out. I am a little superised that it could last for 2+ days. Let's see how fast the stock in CP will be killed. To me, it is more fun to see the chain effect rather than hoarding...lol

It's back to phone orders only at the mint. Doubt it will last long before it's sold out again.

Just quickly checked all the major dealers' websites and CP. They are either backordered or out of stock. I guess there is really small amount of coins at its issue price now.

Some guy won one off ebay for $100 including shipping. The last coin sold for $150 plus shipping. There are still some deals on ebay, but not for long I think.

This really makes me think of ordering more than 2...ughhh what to dooo? Selling on ebay is not worth it unless they sell for atleast $200. Miuns 10% fees and selling fees you end up with like ~$175...which is only $60 over retail...waste of time

@RoyalSilver, ~30% margin is quite good, if you asked me :)

30% margin is great, but on such a small amount you really have to have volume to make anything worth while. At least 10 coins... make around ~$600

I'm a Powerseller on ebay and it's pretty hard to make decent money. tocoins is right, the coin would have to double in value before it's worthwhile, and even then you need volume. The reason I didn't buy 20 of these is because I'd be stuck with $2200 worth of inventory. I'd have to sell them for at least $125 just to break even.
