Has nobody claimed the Great Britain Penny match made this morning? If not I will.

I'm just looking for an "official" call (before it expires and the coin gets removed).

I am not entirely sure about the rules here, I thought I could not make an eventual claim for the British penny before tomorrow to the fact that I already have made a move today. The same then goes for Merc Man and tzarmarko. Have I misunderstood? Just checking

If I understand the rules correctly, you can only make 1 guess of 5 cards per day, no limit on called matches. If that is in fact the case I would like to make an "official" call of the match and "donate" the coin to jdavis18 if that would allow me to still have 1 available claimed coin.

Rule:

Quote:
If the player with the match hasn't called it within 5 hours, anybody who has made at least one move can call the match within 24 hours. First to post gets it.

Calling matches is independent of making a (once a day) guess.

OK, Merc Man made the "match" call, so he is the new master of this penny,
Match-The-Coin-2

If jdavis18 accepts your donation it'll be his, otherwise MM will be free to deal with it as he pleases.

And, yes, if you donate it you can go for the third coin for yourself.

Thank you for clarifying. I would not have availed myself of the opportunity regardless.

No problem at all. I kind of figured it was just a misunderstanding of the rules and didn't want you to miss out on the coin you matched.

I wasn't sure if jdavis18 wanted it. I'm glad everything got settled.
Rest in Peace
