Hello every body!.. the last week I was watching an episode of the Pawn Stars of hisory, about man who was to sell some ancient notes, and I remembered I had a collection that my grandfather had given me when I was a child, I look on the internet and apparently there are several that are very rare and valuable. The most valuable seems to be:

I-Found-Some-Rare-Ancient-Notes-In-My-House..........

I-Found-Some-Rare-Ancient-Notes-In-My-House..........

I have 2 this:

I have 6 of this:

Fist of all do you know if those are valuable?

I am totally newbie, I don't know if is recommended to grade/certify them, or where and how can I sell them, I found on internet that are many companies like PMG or CGC (http://www.gradedcurrency.com), that offer those kind of services. But I don't have an Idea..

Your BCT $1 note if CU , could be $300+
Values of others could probably be found at worldbanknotegallery.com.

HI fertata19,

About the first 2 notes British Caribbean, answer has been already given.

For the 3rd note of Hong Kong (brown), it looks like XF-AUN (unless some defects are not showing).

Anyway, depending on such a roughly grading it would worth between $70-$120.

For the 4th note of Hong Kong (green), it looks like UNC. Price varies between $40-$70 in such a condition (i.e. UNC 65).

I would not recommend sending such notes for certification (PMG, CGC ...etc), because you would have to give away 10's of Dollars than notes would profit!

Having said that, I would suggest auctioning them in ebay for instance.

My 2 Cents!

Cheers
