Which TPG do you think 'may' give the higher grade?

Right now I'd say NGC. I would not have the coin removed from the GSA holder either. If you do have it graded, have NGC do one of the "banded" certs leaving the coin in the GSA holder.

Honestly though? I wouldn't spend the money on grading. It looks like a nice 63 with a shot at 64 on a good day. I don't see 65 at all and you'd need a 65 to make it worthwhile to grade. There's a chance you could get jacked and it ends up in an MS62 holder and that's not a good thing.

I still think I would want the coin put into an NGC holder. Will NGC do this and make an annotation on the label that the coin is a 'GSA Hoard' coin?

I will guess 64 on it. Also, with your description of the die cracks you may have a known VAM which could increase the value. Here's the link for you to check it out.

I have tried to do the attribution ting. I think I will just pay the service fee for attribution when I send the coin in for grading next week.

It's a VAM-3, not an added-value coin.

This would reduce its' value going forward - people are cracking these out of the original holders at such a rate that they will soon be rare. The packaging itself will represent additional value. On its' own, the "GSA" designation means next to nothing.

Thank you Dave. I guess I will be leaving it in the GSA holder after all...
